I think it's a possibility that all these players he has mentioned in the papers that he "likes the look of" are just trying to force the Boards hand?

If not, then why was no official bid made for Chadwick? They put in an inquiry and decided to stop there? Norwich don't usually understand the phrase "not for sale" when it comes to transfers. They usually fight tooth and nail to get the player.

If you were The Board, and you'd let Worthy spend money on a load of unnecessary loans and players that are not of required standard - you would think twice about giving him a substantial budget this time around.
