Another Question

Did we have any representation at the World Cup, any scouts or otherwise?

You'd like to think we would. I see clubs like Walsall and Port Vale have been doing business with players who were there, not the big names obviously, but players decent enough to warrant their interest and to take a chance after, presumably, checking them out over a couple of games as well.

I'd love to be wrong, but I bet we didn't have anyone near the competition, nor had any intention of doing so.
