I doubt they think that at all
That een article to me suggests that it is not well at all within the club.
I think the most revealing quote was:
?We have to be proactive rather than reactive. We signed Dean Ashton in January instead of pre-season and I think the lesson should have been learned from that."
He's obviously implying that the lesson hasn't been learned - and not by him. Seems pretty clear to me that he's p*ssed off with the board for not backing him in the transfer market.
Seems hard to believe that they're vetoing transfers on the basis that they don't trust him. But that seems like the implication to me....
