Norwich City in "faulty phones" crisis.
Norwich City Football Club have missed out on several transfer targets, because they are still using the old phones from the Digital Phone Company venture. All of which were faulty factory third-hand rejects.
Chris Sutton, still a Canary favourite, had this to add: "I tried phoning them and texting them. I was amazed after a few months went past to hear nothing back, I did indeed leave a few messages."
Hearing of Norwich's plight, Newcastle United Football Club's chairman has since come out with a very generous offer. Freddy Shepherd had this to say: "I heard Norwich were in a bit of a mess, so we have offered to pay half of the phones cost. Delia made me one hell of a pie when we last visited Carrow Road so it's the least I could do."
Delia has promised all Newcastle United players and staff who visit Carrow Road for Craig Fleming's testimonial "extra special pies".
