Even so, still beats the A17 !!!!

I used to prefer that way too.. it is horrendous for getting stuck behind tractors , beet lorries etc. ! Going the other way its nealy all dual or motorway from my house.. Although the M6 can be a giant car park on Friday afternoon/evening !
