Never visited the tour...

but along with an ashes tour its top of my list of "things to do before i peg it". I can understand, having seen one or two national races flash past me, that it could be a pretty dull and pointless exercise, however i was under the impression that all the razzmatazz that surrounds the entourage when it visits your particular area more than made up for the boring parts? Suppose a time trial is always going to be a little different from a "normal" day? I'll still be making the trip when it comes to these shores anyway!!
