What really is the point of hounding Knapper in October

It would be purely a PR move at this stage. The time for his removal is the summer if things don't improve drastically. I doubt even a change in January is going to allow a major change as there wont be much funds available.

I'm critical of the signings in the summer but Clement went along with them so really is a 50/50 on who's to blame this summer in terms of recruitment.

We needed a ruthless manager to clear out deadwood and insist on more experience in the squad. Instead PC went along with the youth transfer strategy.

Still puzzles me some of the summer decisions:
1. Alves on loan (completely inexperienced in English football) just bizarre stuff. Again an experienced left sided backup for Cordoba could've been brought in
2. Yongwa signed when we have Chrisene and Mahovo (Field cover too) Wages wasted.
3. Field signing uninspiring and while experienced not a starter at champ level at QPR
4. Why not move on Kvistgarden as he's not Clements type of striker and bring in an experienced striker to fit better.
5. Goalkeeper position neglected. Clement should've been pushing for better backup or challenger to Vlad.
6. Injuries to Ahmed and Toure unfortunate and any hopes of top 8 gone after that.
