FAO PK (Indie Jessie Alert - Code Red)

The Smiths are one of my favourite bands - absolutely brilliant IMO.

Buy everything, but probably the best album to start with is 'The Queen is Dead' (once you've finished with the 'Best of') - the title track is epic, 'Frankly Mr Shankly' is hilarious, and 'There is a Light ...' is beautiful.

Otherwise, 'Hatful of Hollow' has some really nice stuff too, and if you want to try Morrissey's solo stuff (which really is patchy), 'Viva Hate' is the place to start.

And if you like The Smiths, try and track down some stuff by the Brilliant Corners, and maybe give the Bunnymen a try too ...
