Understandable that people are calling out individual players but for me it's more about

the style of play that is making them look bad.

I wonder whether Clement’s biggest problem this season is that he now has a squad better suited to his preferred style of football. Last season, injuries and the players available forced him to be pragmatic. We were more compact, disciplined and balanced, with a relatively straightforward attacking approach that delivered results.

This season, with players like Brooks and Musaba, we’re playing faster, wider and more attacking football. But that ambition seems to have come at the expense of defensive stability. Our full-backs push higher, the midfield gets stretched and we’re increasingly vulnerable to counterattacks. The irony is that we may now have better attacking players but a less effective team.

Maybe Clement's preferred attacking philosophy is fundamentally too risky for the Championship or we haven't yet achieved the balance, organisation and collective understanding needed to execute it successfully.
