Press news in...

Philippe Clement will face the media at Colney this lunchtime (1.30pm) as Norwich City prepare to welcome Southampton to Carrow Road tomorrow evening.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

PC on team news - "I don't want to say too much about the squad, as I don't want our opponents to be too smart. One or two will miss out."

PC on Forsyth - "He is getting better. He is back outside with the physio's training. There was a slight backwards step, but we are working safe with him. We did a scan, but there was nothing worrying."

Mirko Topic has been doing sessions with the squad for the last two weeks. He will play for the Under-21s on Friday night against West Ham. Philippe says "He is really looking forward to it."

PC Swansea debrief - "Yeah, the same as I said after the game. I think it's important to not keep looking back. Everybody is disappointed after the result. We had three chances, with Sam Field and Jovon Makama as well, and if one of those goes in, then it's 2-2, and the perception is different. In sport, football and life it's now about how you react."

PC on fan frustration - "Everybody is. If people are happy with that, it would be a bad thing. It's about how you react after failure. There are different documents about that, like from Michael Jordan about how he dealt with missing shots and the frustration."

PC on young squad - "There is no Kenny for the moment; that is the situation. Others need to take responsibility on the pitch. I feel so confident about this club and playing group; I see the talent and effort they put in. They are desperate to get results."

PC on Southampton - "It's clear Paddy, I think you think the same. It's nine points now. It's now about the games ahead to get good momentum and drive. Southampton will be a tough test; they are one of the top three teams in the league this season."

PC on game against Saints last season at CR - "Yeah. We are working day and night on that. Every second I'm awake, I am thinking about it. All the staff are working hard to get the players in the right place on the pitch and to build cohesion."

PC on tomorrow night - "We need to be good all over the pitch. We need to know when to press and when to be compact. We need to play the football we want to see. Offensive and dominant but with structure, unlike what we done against Bolton, which I never want to see."

That's all from Philippe Clement this afternoon at Colney. The attention is now firmly on a big Wednesday night under the Carrow Road lights.
