joke. Anyhow,a question, regarding the pronunciation of Southwell. There used to to be a Southwell Lodge at City College,it was always pronounced South-Well. However the racecourse in Nottinghamshire of the same name, is pronounced Suthall. Have any of you Norfolkians ever heard our Southwell pronounced Suthall?
