To stop drop-down or pop-up ads in Chrome on your mobile device, open Chrome, go to Settings, tap Site Settings, select Pop-ups and redirects, and set it to Don't allow. Also block intrusive ads and clear unwanted notification spam.Follow the steps below based on your device type to stop these intrusive windows from appearing.Change Chrome Site SettingsOpen Chrome on your phone.Tap the three dots menu (top right on Android, bottom right on iPhone).Select Settings.Scroll down and tap Site Settings (or Content Settings on iOS).Tap Pop-ups and redirects and switch the toggle Off or select Don't allow.Go back one menu and select Ads, then make sure it is set to block intrusive or misleading ads.
This is working for me at the moment
