We are now one of 'those' clubs

Almost without exception our solution to an injury or lack of form/poor performance is to Buy or Loan a new player.

We have a Cat One Academy with 29 players on professional contracts, and the opportunities being offered to them are becoming fewer and fewer.

Ozcan, one of just three age-group internationals we have in the Academy system, now has three specialist Left-Backs ahead of him, all contracted to 2028 or later.
By the time Chrisene, Mahovo and Yongwa have left NC Ozcan will be closer to 23 than 22.

Aarons, Godfrey, Lewis, Green, Marshall are just a few of the NC youth whose progress was kick-started by injury to a more senior pro.
