2 possibilities

1) The board and worthy have a major signing a.la Huckerby/Ashton looming and are waiting until the brink of pre-season to maximize the excitement.

2) The board and worthington are such arrogant clueless fools that they think we can get by with no signings and that the fans don't matter. After last season rebuilding was absolutely imperative instead we've lost johannson, the loan players and brennan etc and if anything have an even weaker squad than last year. At the very least the fans needed to be reassured that something was being done to turn things around.

If its 1 great. If its 2 good help the club if we're not top 2 after 5 games because this season won't be nice.
