You reckon?

His "solution" may be unconvincing, but the problem he has pointed out e.g. stagnant wages vs. soaring asset prices, housing becoming unaffordable for young and middle‑class people, millionaires and billionaires gaining wealth faster than the economy, debt as a mechanism transferring wealth upward etc. seem pretty convincing for the average Joe.

What circles do you socialize in? That could be the problem here.
