Although on the subject of "pretty much every fan you speak to will identify the holes in our squad", I don't think you're right.

I am constantly amazed at the number of conversations I overhear at the football, in pubs, around the City, etc, where UTTERLY BONKERS opinions are being peddled about the relative worth of Norwich players, the squad and related subjects.

Edited highlights:

"He should drop that Huckerby he's rubbish. Try Hughes down the left, can't hurt."

"He should of (sic) brought Sutch on earlier in Cardiff"

"I don't know why he gave Holt away - he got better year on year."
