It's nice to hear that my thoughts might actually lead you to reconsider!

General process of WotB argument:

1. Poster puts up thoughts.
2. A series of counter-arguments are posted, which range from the staggeringly stupid to the highly considered to (sometimes) a posting of a hitherto ignored or unknown fact which completely undercuts that poster's argument.
3. Original poster maintains original position regardless.
4. Second poster holds his head in his hands and cries (Ronaldo-style).

So kudos to you for rising above that.
