They’ve would’ve known very early on (before any statements)..

that it wasn’t a burglary. Which makes the comments of the statements given even more bizarre. It could only be political or terrorist motivated. No one drives 270 miles in broad daylight to bludgeon a 78yr old political figure to death without it being otherwise.
