Wright and Schwartau are big question marks for me

Unless we can hold a squad big enough within the rules for Clement to use them situationally the way Tuchel has been doing then it’s a tough one.

Until we see further exits, we have Ahmed and Diallo on the left, and Crnac and Makama could play there too, but Schwartau was the one who produced more consistently that side. But if Makama fits into the winger mix then that leaves us with only one other striker, Touré, unless Phil sees Crnac being effective up front.

But if Schwartau is a 10, how does he fit in with Maghoma and Slimane, and then you have wright into the question as well. And maybe Crnac.

If we drop wright deeper then he’s in the mix with Kenny who has just signed a further extension, field who we just paid for, Mattsson who I hope we are going to hold on to and Topic as well. I expect Gibbs to leave on loan at least.

On the right it seems clearer with Brooks there and currently Jurasek and Crnac to compete. Maybe also Diallo as he played on the right occasionally as well.

But it’s a big squad we currently have and I don’t see how we can use them all.
