Flying ants. Good for the eco system
Don't be too harsh on them. Most of the same colony fly on the same day. Few stragglers the next.
The males fly away, never to return, hopefully mate and die and the female queens get fertilized, chew off their wings, fall to earth and start a new colony underground and never come above ground again.
If your getting regular swarms it will be different colonies flying on different days.
They break up soil and also provide a meal for birds etc.
Funny old life really.
