Not sure I'd go that far

I'd place them behind Italy and Argentina, but they are very, very solid. Agree about the striker, Pauleta has good stats on paper but never looks that convincing - maybe this will be his time. Having said that, he is very unselfish and does a lot of running for the team.

Put Klose or Crespo in the team and they's be second best in the world.

Also got the revenge factor against France after being cheated by French gamesmanship in 2000.
