The players who are "targets" for us aren't targets for anyone else which is why we get them!

Did we enter a thrilling four way tussle for the signature of Andy Hughes? Was it us up against the likes of Spurs and West Ham for the signature of Simon Charlton? Did we pip aAston Villa at the post for the coveted name of Carl Robinson? Did Matthew Louis-Jean snub Man City and Sheffield United in favour of Norwich ("...I was flattered to be approached by those clubs, but, once Norwich declared their interest, they were the only club for me...")?

We wait until the end of summer detritus surfaces, the players no-one else wants, not their clubs and no-one else then we strike, we're desperate, they're desperate, a perfect picture!

Ricardo Scimeca (still "unattached") by July 31st anyone?
