You know the Gary Lineker saying, as quoted earlier this morning ⬇️⬇️
“Football is a simple game; 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win on penalties.”
Why does he say 90 minutes? Surely they only go to penalties after Extra Time, ie 120mins.
Or when he originally said it, did they go straight to pelanties?
Answers on a postcard please to:
Why is this bugging me so early in the morning?
