That is soft, but
I’ve been watching Anton put it about at every corner. Digging his elbows in the defenders near him, jostling the keeper. It is very clearly his job to put himself about and try to live just the right side of the law. For that corner, sure it wasn’t much contact, but he’s clearly only there to block the keeper, knowing that the ball is going back stick.
If it was given against England, I’d probably be fuming. But I get why the officials have given it. And don’t try and tell me that “f**king with the keeper” was not Anton’s job. Because it clearly is.

- How come you're allowed to block defenders but not the keeper? (n/m) (Other Football) - Charles21, Jun 29, 23:59:38
- Agree. He went down easily but it was nevertheless an intentional and successful block (n/m) (Other Football) - Legacy Fan, Jun 29, 23:57:32
- Where was Anton looking the whole time? Straight at the keeper (Other Football) - Under soil heating, Jun 30, 00:00:03
