Nope, I chose a DS Lite instead...
...far more choice of games - only one that really stands out on the PSP is Loco Roco. New Super Mario Bros, Brain Training, Wario Ware, Mario Kart and Advance Wars are all simple to play yet really addictive (don't really need looks for a portable console, just make them alright and get the gameplay sorted!).
DS Lite is even getting a Pro Evolution in October. Won't be as pretty as the PSP one (which is basically a direct PS2 port), but will retain the gameplay - possibly returning to the International Superstar Soccer style that Nintendo used to have.
