Extra-time last night was the best part of the match.

I thought the game tailed off in the second half - started to get to the point where it looked like both teams were playing for penalties (to me, anyway) - but in extra-time I thought Italy took the game to Germany, forcing the hosts to raise their game, and from there on it was compelling stuff.

Personally I enjoyed the France-Brazil game more, but there you go.
