Interesting chat on the wireless during the (retire) tennis about how sports governing
Bodies are coming to terms with how to deal with athletes using weight reduction drugs and if it’s offering an unfair advantage. Never really thought about them like that before.
There’s so much to consider with them and what impact they could have on health and society. Even things like could there be less need for food? I know there’s a popular(ist) argument that solar farms are taking away crop producing fields, maybe the future is that we don’t need to eat so much ‘cos we’re all on weight loss drugs will there be a downturn in gym memberships, less restaurant visits?
I know of a couple of people who are on them and they feel great, more active than before, happier.
Funny old world innit.
I dunno.

- It’s all a bit odd isn’t it? I think the recent uptake in gyms is more down to aesthetics (Other Sports) - Augustus Pablo, Jun 2, 22:47:16
