Smells like a load of bollo to me.

Most Southampton fans seem to be in shock, but fully blame their own club. Nobody made them cheat, but they chose to repeatedly and they also lied about it. That group thinks they got what they deserved, and the current leaders have shattered the reputation of the club they love.

Then there is a smaller subset that think they’ve been done over. That this is all part of a plan set up and executed by Boro because they knew they couldn’t beat Southampton on the pitch, so they had to set them up off the pitch. Lure them in to spying, with a trap set to catch them, with a media team ready to spring into action feeding a captive, Boro friendly press, and with the EFL and panel stacked with Boro lovers in key positions.

Tbh, it’s a sad reflection of the times we live in. How could Southampton have possibly avoided this diabolical plan? Well…how about you don’t send a spy up to record your opposition? That would have done it. Southampton and Southampton alone decided to send a spy. The idea everyone was just waiting to reveal their love of Boro is bonkers.
