But i think the public & Press learnt a lot over that Beckham incident

It was so f**king wrong what happened to Beckham and would have finished off many lesser willed men. 9 out of 10 people would have ended up playing for Kidderminster by 31, not cptaining your country and playing for one of the worlds biggest clubs.

For that reason i will allways respect Beckham, and personally was very sad to see him stand down as captain.
