BN is/was the landlord of a pub in Sible Hedingham hth

Twenty years ago to this day I reunited with my father in another pub in Castle Hedingham, having watched the cup final in BN's pub in SH. He had been estranged for twenty one years, since I was five years old. My father died last Saturday, four days shy of the twentieth anniversary of that reunion. The people mentioned were with me that day and helped me to find the Dutch courage to go through with it (along with greater context prior to the day); I met them via the Wrath - or at least one of them and they were his friends who I then met at the footy. One died nine and a half years ago. One I spoke to tonight on the phone. The other I'll hopefully see for this weekend's final, as I do every year. That song/chant has been in my head all day. it's got referenced countless times amongst us over the years since. The local lads in the pub were chanting it so we responded with "who the f**k is Brian Notley?!" Thanks for asking; it's been helpful talking about everything with friends & family and the Wrath played it's part in that day happening, so I felt I ought to post today (it's still Wednesday in my head rn) to mark the occasion on here especially.
