More convincing than getting Argentina and France in the final last time?

Argentina against Holland was pretty rough, especially the Messi handball. And I still think something smelt rotten about the goal scored against England where Saka had clearly been fouled twice by the same played just outside their area a few seconds before.

But I also do not think a ref or organisation can completely control a winner. At my most conspiratorial I'd say you can influence certain moments (Messi handball, foul on Saka), but in those two examples both England and Holland had opportunities to win that they didn't take (despite little help from the ref).
