the academy, manning etc

not sure how the academy can really work well when exceptional players can move to Barcelona without compensation.....

Great achievement and vote of confidence etc etc but no norwich player,

Seems to me we're trying to bring in lots of promising youngsters on fees which will inevitably mean that we have a lot of young players.

Schwartau is only 19 but obviously doesnt count as an academy player, But I would say we are developing him as a young player,

Same with half the first team. Think we need to do this and frankly I love it. If they strictly come from the academy or not Im not too bothered,


re: manning he should never have been appointed and clearly wasn't fit to work. Has had to take indefinite leave from the job after us. How easy this was to tell at the time though? Who knows.....

Its very sad. And almost certainly severely impacted his performance. That combined with the atrocious fitness levels did for us at the start of the season. I hope he gets help and wish him well. The club should reflect though that it took a miracle to keep us up and maybe need to look at gow the situation wasn't picked up earlier or dealt with.

Anyway cant wait for the new season. Havent said that for a while
