Asset ownership is possible for any working person.
Start young and start with small amounts and you can end up comfortable without trying to reinvent the wheel.

This thesis you mention is Marxism - the nasty rich hoovering up all the assets so nobody else has anything.
It isn’t factually correct - there will always be super wealthy people and there always have been throughout history.

One major reason the UK is struggling so badly currently is the attack on wealth and those that aim to generate wealth - like it or not you need wealth generation to drive tax revenue.

Those taxes pay for society to function, including the UK benefits system which has gone so badly wrong none work rewards more generously than working in many cases.

And just to clarify I think anybody to the left of Genghis Khan is a Marxist.
