Perhaps even Jacob Murphy, as he is now 31 and contract until 2027 so last chance for a fee, and in even if he got another contract at 32, surely Newcastle are ramping up to spend big money and he'd find himself on the bench.
Madders is out of their league.
I think for them the latter would not be a bad signing. But let's hope he still hates Ipswich.
And then, to a minor degree, Angus as a backup. Don't think we'd even flinch about any others.
Just hope they don't come in for Cordoba or McConville. I think those are the two most likely they'd come to us for.
