Press news in...
Philippe Clement is set to face the media at Colney this lunchtime (1:30pm)
-------------------------------------------------------------
Oscar Schwartau will not be available tomorrow. Ben Chrisene's surgery has gone well; he is set to be back later in pre-season.
PC confirms Lucien Mahovo is doing well in training. No risks taken for him to be available this weekend.
Matej Jurasek and Jovon Makama are expected back in training when the Norwich players return for 10 days of training the week after the Hull game.
Ante Crnac is expected back at the start of pre-season, and Mirko Topic at the end of pre-season.
PC on Crnac: "I've heard a lot of good things about his personality and his attitude. I'm excited to work with him."
PC on McLean POTS: "Kenny deserved it. He is one of the best captains I have ever seen, both as a player and as a manager, in the way he speaks in the dressing room and helps the young players."
PC on Schwartau YPOTS: "I'm mostly impressed by his age; he has only just become 20. You feel like talking to him; you are talking to someone who is 25. He is like a sponge, the way he takes in information. I'm curious where his ceiling is. We are still a long way from that. He will become a really good player"
PC: "If you don't work in the football business, you see players as robots. But for me, it's 70/80% about the mental aspect; they all have the technical qualities. But it's also about communication in the dressing room, and that's the evolution you have seen."
PC on Hull test: "It's about us and what we want to do. How can we impose our way of playing? There is no preferred game. I wish we could still play for the play-offs, but we still want to go for the three points every time. It was a good training week."
PC on sold-out away end: "Yeah, fully (behind us). You saw this at Carrow Road in the last game. I really enjoyed the love from the fans for what the players have done this season. It was nice to have the moments with the children, I'm not even sure whose they were. It was nice to see them enjoying it and the families. I'm a family man, and I love to build a family, and here you can do that."
PC on season finale: "There was a lot of energy and fun in the training this week, and I want to see that on the pitch. Here is an exclusive for you, Paddy. Kenny (McLean) has locked his back; he will be out for a few days, but will be fine for the World Cup for our Scottish friends. So we will have some changes to see players towards next season, but only those who have shown they are ready."
PC on summer transfer window: "15 players came in last season, so you can never do 10 more additions. Players have shown good things, and we want to build on that. I also hope the players I haven't seen can kick on."
PC on summer transfer window: "For everybody in the building, we are clear on profiles and positions we want. They looked, and I looked at names, and we said we would go for this and this. That's been really good. I feel everybody likes to see us play; everybody is aligned on that, otherwise it becomes more difficult. Then you need to convince players, which will be easier than it was in January when we were in the relegation places. I hope people see the ambition of the club."
PC on Women's play-off final: "I hope as many fans as possible go to support them. We are a family club, so we feel like one family with the academy and women's team."
PC on staff departures: "I hope the players give them the players they deserve with three points and a good feeling. They have been serving the club for a long time, so they have a strong feeling. I wish them all the best with their next challenge, both Neil (Adams) and Burts (Chris Burton)."

That's all from the boss for today.
