Are the BvB youth, bar some, never ready for the first team?

It’s not like their entire development team graduates to the first team is it?

We have had quite a few youngsters, from the academy or not, debut for the first team over the last while. Schwartau, Fisher, Rowe, Mahovo, Myles, Forsyth, Hills, Mundle-Smith, Aboh, Crnac, Wright. Might have missed some.

They didn’t all secure a first team place but then I’m sure Dortmund’s don’t either.

FWIW I think for a 16 year old to debut he has to be something special, especially in terms of physical development, or it is not always the best strategy for their careers in the longer term.
