🎤 Afternoon all. Philippe Clement will join us at 1️⃣:3️⃣0️⃣pm this afternoon. Follow live updates here 🔰
-------------------------------------------------------

PC on the table: 'I read somewhere that we have a 0.7pc chance (of top six). I know also when we came in, the same computer gave the club 37pc chance of going down. They are all statistics. We can only do what is at hand - getting the points. The other things, we don't have full control. Everyone is focussed on that. They are two good teams. It could have been that you need four points and you change the tactic, but that's not the case so there is no difference for us.'

PC on progress: 'You look back and think 'we should have taken more points there, there and there. But that's not the case. It's football also, you never get 100pc everything you deserve. The players and staff have done a remarkable job. I don't think anyone - fan, player, coach or journalist - would have one penny on that (still being in the play-off mix with two to play) but I want to make things better. It's been a good training week and everyone is focussed.'

PC on Swans: 'For me, they are in the top three in the league on the ball. They have a lot of playmakers. It will be really tough for us.'

PC on Fisher's 100th appearance: 'We have had an ex-team mate of mine here who is between jobs. The first player he saw was Fisher and you'd think with his body that he would struggle in the Championship against all these beasts. I thought the same. He's been great. He's played plenty of positions, competes against players who are double his size and double his weight. I've been really impressed with him and we'll push him to add for more. I hope he's here for a long time.'

PC on Fisher cont: 'If we have players who need to have longer, he is standing there and coaching the other team. He always wants to be around football. It is someone with a big passion for football. Those are the players that grow a lot. The next step for him is to score goals. It's crazy that he's played 100 games and hasn't scored. It's been too much in his head. I hope that happens as fast as possible.'

Clement declines the opportunity to vote for Player or Young Player of the Season. 'Then I have favourites and I cannot have favourites.'

Clement on the EFL VAR vote earlier this week: 'I have my opinion. Clearly other people have another opinion. I've seen too many things happen that could have been avoided. I think also avoiding dangerous things on the pitch, it can help. I've seen things this season that could be dangerous on the pitch. Sometimes they don't get punished because the referee doesn't see. Thirdly, it's a big difference for a club to go to the Premier League. To not have the technology that makes the game more honest (is a frustration). But I'm clearly in the wrong opinion.'

Clement on Swans: 'Two teams who like the ball. Two teams who like to attack. Two teams who are good at pressing. If I was neutral, I'd probably pick this game to watch. It's not only Vipotnik who is scoring goals and he is very versatile. He can combine and has made a strong impression in every game that I've seen him play. I never believe on focusing on one player. In the past, I played in the past with Monaco against PSG with Messi, Mbappe and Neymar. I could have killed my team by showing them clips of them. We won the game and it shows you have to focus on yourself.'

Fitness update. McConville is back in the squad after sickness. Ahmed should be in the squad providing there is no reaction. Schwartau is out.

On Makama and Diallo - unlikely to feature in the regular season. Lucien Mahovo is back training but 'comes in from a long way'.

That's all from Clement this afternoon.
