I did write a long post at the time, the gist of which was that they needed to find and appoint a new coach / manager who could turn things around with immediate effect, and players and a team who had previously achieved less than 1ppg had to double that, starting the next game. Do that, with a conspicuously poor recent record of such decisions and achievements.

Well, they did.
