Spurs could, maybe should, have gone down last season

This has been coming. Sure, they’ve got some high profile players, and some that are quite good. But actually, look at their squad. I think, apart from Maddison, Spence and Kulusevsky, you’d find it hard to justify any of them in a top half Premier League team. Van de Ven looked ok for a while; Simons has some skills; Tel and Solanke have, occasionally, performed. I genuinely believe quite a few of our players are better, in their best position, than theirs.
