How does Big Phil compare. The numbers.
PC's first 25 Lge matches, excl Birm
W15 D4 L6 F40 A21 Pts49 PPG 1.96
Stringer 87/88 [succeeded Brown, had 11 pts from 15]
W9 D7 L9 F30 A31 Pts34 PPG 1.36
Worthington 00/01 [had 20 from 20]
W9 D6 L10 F28 A31 Pts33 PPG 1.32
Then compared to those who started off from a much stronger base [Matchweeks 17-41, ex Neil.]
Farke 20/21 - PPG 2.36
Alex Neil [from appt to Wembley] - PPG 2.24
Farke 18/19 - PPG 2.2
Worthy 03/04 - PPG 2.04
Lambert 10/11 - PPG 1.84
Conclusion; PC has been very, very good.
PS At Rangers PC's Lge PPG was even better, at 2.17. Yet still they sacked him!
