Not the worst appointment

I had seen this earlier in the week.
He has only refereed us the once this season, our loss at Birmingham, he has refereed them twice, both times beating Coventry and Swansea.
He does however have a 70% home win ratio.
I do hope this is the last he is mentioned and that he has a good game, consistent to both sides and makes no mistakes which decides the outcome of the game.
Having said that, it takes a strong referee to stand up to the Ipswich antics of dropping at every opportunity.
If he waves play on enough times, gives a yellow for diving, it will send a clear message that he won’t tolerate their nonsense.
Don’t start me on goalkeepers going down at the drop of a hat!!!
