This is so clearly true...
...even when we b***h and moan - and we've had good reason to last season - we still travel f**king hundreds of miles to do it. With an inept-but-unsackable manager at the helm we've still got one of the highest season ticket counts in the division and almost the highest regular home gate.
This has changed in recent years - I well remember the nadir of cold, wet miserable nights in Fulham in 1999 with no more than a few hundred of us huddled together. It's picked up steadily since then.
