A story where Ipswich Town (our rivals) allow a divisive party leader to use them as the backdrop for local election campaigning.
A story where the club pretended they knew nothing about it, despite that being impossible, until they issued a statement many hours later where this supposed absence of knowledge wasn't being mentioned any more.
And yes, if Polanski had done the same thing, it would look *just* as bad from a political agnosticism perspective, if not necessarily from an equity and inclusion pov.
