I agree about the goalkeeping

A lot of posts on here are, in my opinion, over critical of our keepers, and it’s been like that for quite a while, probably going back to the days of Carlo Nash being put up for player of the season or maybe before.

I specifically rewatched a couple of recent games in the last couple of weeks, mainly because I am a sad nerd, have time on my hands and also out of curiosity, but also because I’ve thought this for a while. I can’t remember which games the following events refer to, but in each game Vlad made one solitary mistake - one misplaced pass and one occasion where he was almost dispossessed - and neither led to goals. He also made saves in both games which, in my opinion, were very good. I’d also admit his levels have improved since the start of the season.

I know it’s all intangibles and what ifs, but objectively, that is not poor performance. I also know I’m unlikely to convince some of you, but just have a look. If you have the time, just watch a half or so. You’ll also notice the other players trust him, and Clement picks him, so they must know something.
