Well, in a word, yes.

This, to me, has actually been the best World Cup since 1990, which only had two really good games (England v. Cameroon and W. Germany). I enjoyed the last one because so many "big" teams got knocked out early, but the football wasn't the best.

This one started really well (ignoring England) with some great games, but "Phase 2" has been largely disappointing.

Partly, I think, the high number of yellows and reds has been down to FIFAs silly directives. I notice since the Portugal-Holland game, the refs are taking a much more lenient approach though.
