Chadwick not signing
So Stoke have said that they are not interested in selling him, so we have just given up. I imagine our calls to other clubs are like window salesman:
"Hi, Norwich City here, we're interested in buying Chadwick. Would you be at all interested..."
"No"
"Oh, very sorry to have bothered you. Thanks for your time"
Just because someone says they don't want to sell, doesn't mean they wont once the offer is on the table.
If a club asked us about Earnie, we would say we didn't want to sell him. But if they came back with ?4m on the table, it would be a different story.
No wonder we never sign anyone, we just don't make bids. Fucking unbelievable.
P.S. I never said I wanted us to sign Chadwick. lol
