Press news in...

Norwich City head coach Philippe Clement will be speaking to the media at 1:30pm ahead of the Canaries clash against Sheffield Wednesday at Carrow Road tomorrow night.
--------------------------------------------------------------

PC on squad fitness: "No problems after the last game. There's bits and bob's with some players."

Amankwah Forson's return to the matchday squad 'will take some time.'

Pelle Mattsson was outside running with one of the physios' this week. But does not expect him back in team training yet.

Gabe Forsyth is still working on his rehab.

PC on Elliot Myles - "He is working really well. He has lots of quality on the ball, but he needs to work on stuff without the ball to be ready for the Championship."

PC on Ajay Tavares - "First you have no means to tie a player down at that age in the UK (to a contract). He also has a Portuguese passport, so it's easier for foreign teams to bring him in and it's easier for them to give him a contract (different rules). But we are proud as an academy, it's a great opportunity."

PC on contracts for youth players - "It's different everywhere. It is weird for me, as in Scotland if a young player is out of contract, they can go to an English club for free. But if he goes to a Scottish club, then it goes to tribunal for compensation."

PC on Birmingham - "We had a lot of the ball and many more shots on target. We had several good finishes, but there was a good goalkeeper on the other side. It's a pity to not get points like that."

PC on Kenny McLean - "You need role model's in your dressing room, who show hunger and desire, but still want to improve. Kenny does that. I challenged all the midfielders (to score more goals)."

Clement confirms they will speak about the option in Kenny's contract to extend his stay at the club for next season later this season.

PC on Sheff Wed: "They have nothing to lose in this game. I count on the good support from our fans, as it is about getting three points. These points would be as important as against Coventry."

That's all from the NCFC boss at Colney for this afternoon.
