Extended Play-Offs being proposed across EFL

One-off ties played at the club finishing highest:
5th v 8th
6th v 7th

Two winners proceed to play 3rd and 4th over 2 legs.
Two winners meet at Wembley.

Vote allegedly taking place in early March, for implementation 2026/27. Simple majority required to carry.

More cash from broadcasters and more cash for players. What's not to like?
[Never mind the extended season, player fatigue, fan expenditure and dilution of league concept.]
