PC on window - we have out the bar really high for this window. We were really close to signing a striker who wanted to come but situation changed because his team won games they were not expecting to win.

PC They are all young guys with a lot of potential to grow and get better.

Toure - PC said he doesn't see him as a playmaker. Maybe someone who can play central and right side, maybe not a winger.

PC - summer window is a long way away. Player really wanted to come, he believed a lot in the story. But the story is now, not the summer - that can wait.

PC on Sam Field - Sam is a well known Champo player with a lot of experience. He ticks a lot of boxes.

PC - it was important that we brought someone who can play straight away, otherwise too much pressure on McLean and Wright to play 90m.

Paris Maghoma is in front of schedule fitness-wise.

With a young squad Sam Field has an important role in the dressing room as well as on the pitch. He ticks that box as well - really pleased we could get him.

Window outgoings - PC says if everyone was fit maybe some would go, but injuries to Mattsson and Amass changed that process.

PC on Sargent - nothing more to add.

PC on Harry Amass - in constant communication with him and Man Utd. I was really happy with him here, in training and as a person. he also felt good here with everybody. There's a possibility he can be fit at the end of the season - that will be the goal now.

Forson back training but not ready for this weekend - PC wants him more robust given he has had a few injuries.

Duffy and Schlupp - still in the distance on their fitness. Jurasek has problem with 'pressure on the bone' in his foot... he has had a scan. Not a fracture but will need some time to let it settle down. Need to see a specialist to work out how long he will be out.

Post Boro - PC says this week has been good and sharp, really individualised. Lot of players who have had lots of loads have had a bit more recovery time. Very good vibe in the group, lot of unity and hard work but a lot of laughs as well. There's a really good feeling in the building.

PC - 'biggest mistake players can make' is complacency now. We need to be hungry and full of desire, not just be happy for what we did against good teams in the league.

It is about us, what we do. We will see what Blackburn do and then we will try to stop them.

PC on Todd Cantwell. TC is a lovely lad, I loved my time with him, it is always special to come back to your old team. He has a lot of talent who with one action can make the difference in a game. He will be super-motivated.

Carrow Road - PC has had eight games, won five ... I don't want CR form I want total form, home and away good form. At CR it gives something extra but our way of approaching a game cannot be different.

I enjoyed atmosphere post-Coventry - I know it is there. With everybody I meet from outside the club about Norwich, it is everywhere ... the belief and support is back. The fans are behind the players - now it is all down to the players. Now, when there is a mistake, fans don't lose belief any more.
