I'd feel like that if we were, say, 13th or so.

But really, when you consider how dire things were in October / November, it's hard not to let that affect your thinking. It really did look as if we were gone, and we've been incredibly lucky to make such a successful appointment. Our track record of such decisions was not good, and most people thought it was a job for O'Neil, Still or Martin. I wonder how they'd have done.
